The following are some of our areas of NI related expertise:
Data Logging and Supervisory control: This module has been used by Infodat for larger scale applications especially in Oil and Gas sector using I/0 servers for sharing data with third party devices, configuration based alarms and events, real time and historical trending and to log data to Citadel database.
Real-Time Measurement and Control: LabVIEW RT is used with hardware such as CompactRIO and Compact FieldPoint. These stand alone applications developed on Real Time operating system provides reliable and deterministic performance.
NI LabVIEW FPGA: Infodat has developed applications using FPGA Module on NI Reconfigurable I/O (RIO) especially CompactRIO for Oil and Gas and Chemical industries. This is critical when high-speed hardware reliability and safety needs are important.
NI Motion: We have experience using NI Motion hardware and software for controlling motors such as stepper motors.
Report Generation toolkit: Custom reports are programmatically created in Word and Excel for clients as part of the application based on the data acquired and system information.
Instrument Connectivity: Infodat uses LabVIEW to communicate with wide variety of instruments using various protocols such as RS-232, HART, TCP/IP, Modbus, UDP, Bluetooth, etc. The instruments connected range from pumps, chiller, barcode generator and reactors to complex custom made hardware and Subsea systems.
Hardware: We have expertise with a wide variety of National instruments hardware such as NI CompactDAQ, SCXI, Compact FieldPoint, etc. and with PAC (Programmable Automation Control) platforms such as PXI, SCXI, CompactRIO, etc. In addition to Distributed I/0 we also use various USB and PCI cards, including wireless and other NI hardware.
Database Connectivity toolkit: Infodat is vastly experienced with connections to popular databases such as SQL, Oracle and Microsoft Access. Since Infodat is also Microsoft Gold Certified partner, it has valuable experience in Microsoft technologies and can therefore integrate Microsoft products (such as .NET, Office, MS SQL) with National Instruments technologies.
